By locations, the Market may be classified in 6 main economic circles, or localized markets:
Yangtze River Delta 每 Shanghai, Zhejiang & Jiangsu Provinces
Pearl River Delta 每 Guangdong Province
Bo Hai Rim 每 Beijing, Tianjin, Dalian Cities and Shandong, Hebei
Provinces
Central 每 Wuhan, Xi'An Cities
North West 每 ChongQing, Chengdu Cities and Sichuan Provinces
North East 每 ShenYang, Harbin Cities and provinces
Yangtze River and Pearl River deltas possess the most advanced economy, spreading out not only in major cities, but in clusters of local cities, driven by private enterprises, heavy foreign investments, and government investments. Both have high density of populations with highest consuming power in the country. Infrastructures are well established in the regions, but are getting crowded due to rapidly growing demands. These two regions are the common and easier landing points for foreign businesses, either selling to or sourcing from China. They are also the priority locations for setting up new business, whether or not the purpose being manufacturing for export or domestic, service, or others.
Bo Hai Rim has in general less advanced economy, mainly centered in major cities of Beijing, Tianjin and Dalian and leading provinces such as ShanDong and LiaoNing. Beijing has its advantage for being the political centre of the country. Private, foreign invested enterprises, are less developed, and are mainly located in above centres, as well as the populations with consuming power. Infrastructures are fairly established in above centres, but are getting crowded due to growing demands.
Central & North West regions are heavily populated, but with much less consuming power. Less private and foreign invested businesses. Fair infrastructure.
North East region is traditionally one of the bases of state owned industries, but having suffered from transforming of Chinese economy in the past two decades.
